Busy Saturday afternoon for Helicopter
The Greenlea Rescue Helicopter had a busy Saturday afternoon after first being called to Aratiatia where a 51 year old male had been kicked by a horse He was flown to Waikato with serious leg and Pelvis injurious. The helicopter was then send to Tongariro National Park for a tourist who collapsed while climbing Mt Ngauruhoe. Due to low cloud the helicopter was used to deploy the RARO rescue crew to recover his body
