Schedule Of Hearings—Healthy Futures (Pae Ora) Amendment Bill
Submissions received
The Health Committee has received close to 1,800 written submissions on the Healthy Future (Pae Ora) Amendment Bill. Some submissions have already been published on the Parliament website. All submissions will be published by 12 September.
Selection of submitters for hearings
The committee will not be able to hear from everyone who has requested a hearing.The committee has agreed to hear from submitters who have made a substantive submission. This includes written submissions that:
- are unique and do not constitute part of a form submission
- consist of more than a few sentences or a short paragraph.
The committee plans to hear from 125 submitters, including over 80 organisations, for a total of 17 hours.
Health Committee Chairperson Sam Uffindell would like to thank all submitters for their contributions.
Schedule of hearings
The committee will hold subcommittee hearings on:
- Tuesday 2 September
- Wednesday 3 September.
The committee will also invite specific submitters to provide evidence at its meeting on Wednesday 10 September.
