Thorpe takes two: SWIM sensation Ian Thorpe added to his 4oo m freestyle world record/gold medal performance by joining his teamates to win gold with another world record breaking swim in the men's 4x100m relay.

The Aussies maintained the momentum started by 'Thorpedo' with the world record setting relay swim of 3m.13.67 to relegate their arch-rivals - USA to second and a silver medal.
