Arrests Stall Carnival Against Capitalism
After arrests following the occupation of Westpac in Cuba St, protesters moved further up Cuba Mall to avoid further clashes with police. They decided to abandon an undisclosed third phase of their protest, expecting further arrests.
Police say there were eight arrests, but protesters say 13 of their group were arrested.
