Irving has hit the headlines by promising to fight any moves to keep him out of the country and by posting a US$1000 reward for information leading to the capture of those responsible for the desecration of two Jewish cemeteries in Wellington.

A poll released yesterday revealed that between Fletcher and fellow candidate Bruce Hucker there are enough votes to unseat incumbent John Banks.
