Images: Protest Against Israel's Actions In The Middle East

Green MP Keith Locke today told an enthusiastic and vocal crowd of protestors that Israel's actions in bombing Lebanon were war crimes. To loud cheers outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) HQ in Wellington Mr Locke said that one day the people responsible for destroying large swathes of the Lebanon and killing hundreds of civilians would be tried as war criminals.
Mr Locke also took umbrage at the New Zealand Government for not condemning the actions of the Israeli Defence Forces as war crimes.

The protest against Israel's actions in Palestine and Lebanon was organised by the Wellington Palestine Group and was attended by a few hundred vocal supporters who started at the Cenotaph outside Parliament and the marched to the MFAT building at the other end of Lambton Quay
