National's Alleged Links With Insurance Industry Attacked

This afternoon National and their alleged links with the private insurance industry were the targets of Government attacks. During the election campaign a document entitled 'Workplace Safety Wins Under National' was circulated by the Insurance Council of New Zealand.

In this document it was stated that the "details of [National's] policy were deliberately kept out of the announcement after consultation with the Insurance Council."

The name at the bottom of the document was Insurance Council CEO, Chris Ryan.
