Radio One: Thursday Spectrum with Johnny West
Radio One Morning Spectrum with Johnny West
Thursday 14th September
Radio One, Dunedin 91FM
10.15: Robert Patman-Associate Professor Robert Patman
Robert Patman is Associate Professor in the Political Studies Dept at the University of Otago. His research interests include international relations and US foreign policy. He and Johnny will discuss the state of the world and the US 5 years on from the 9/11 attacks.
10.40: Renee Heal, Otago
University Students Association President elect for 2007.
Opposition to the University of Otago’s Code of Conduct featured strongly in Renee Heal’s presidential campaign. So, how does she feel now that the University has passed the controversial disciplinary code without including any of OUSA’s suggested amendments?
11.20: Paul Chong,
current President of Otago University Students Association.
Paul Chong also opposes the Code of Conduct, and although he was part of the working party who composed the written Code, he’s angry that students weren’t consulted. Indeed, he and OUSA are now planning to take the University to court.
11.40: Gerry Brownlee, National Party.
Nope, National and Labour won’t lay off each other: exclusive Brethren, Labour’s pledge card expenses, and Don Brash’s leaked emails. It’s like an episode of Neighbours. But where’s Bouncer? Mr Brownlee will surely have something to say about one of the above, even if it’s just the whereabouts of Bouncer.
