Scoop Audio: PM Wraps Up 2006

At the last post-cabinet press conference for 2006 the Prime Minister took a short wander down memory lane and preferred to be upbeat about the fading year - citing the roll out of Working for Families, interest free student loans and legislation designed at giving Kiwi's cheaper broadband as being positives.
Little was said about embattled Mangere MP Taito Philip Field other than that the Police were most definitely not keeping the Prime Minister up to date with the investigation. The Prime Minister also drew the assembled media's attention to the recent Security Intelligence Service's 50th anniversary celebrations.
