Cluster Bomb Victims Stage Wellington Protest

Click for big version
This afternoon in Wellington cluster bomb victims were joined by members of the public in a protest at the impact of cluster munitions. The impact of cluster bombs would have been brought home to many a lunch-goer in Wellington's civic square who stumbled across various cluster bomb amputees brandishing placards. The Wellington conference regarding cluster munitions has been attended by victims of cluster bombs from countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Serbia.
