Shattered Glass At Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Emergency services were alerted to a broken window on the tenth floor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs And Trade on Lambton Quay shortly before 2pm.
Update, 4pm: Lambton Quay has been re-opened.
The footpath and road outside the building is strewn with shards of glass but no pedestrians have been injured and the area has since been cordoned off.
Police and fire officers are on the scene and traffic heading towards the city is being redirected down Panama St instead.
Police say the glass appears to have slipped from its fixings.
