has
announced a free 'ninja gig' with Jason Webley in
Wellington's Civic Square at 7pm tonight (Friday 18 Feb).
Scoop cannot confirm a rumour that Wellington should
bring its ukuleles. Updated: Ms Palmer's blog post says bring (love &) ukes.
Another update: There will be a live video stream of Amanda Palmer's Webstock gig tonight from 8:30 on Webstock 2011 live feed. (Video by r2.co.nz).
Palmer is touring with Jason Webley and Katie Morton promoting the antipodean-themed album Amanda Palmer Goes Down Under. They perform at Bodega tomorrow night before moving on to Christchurch and Auckland. Yesterday Palmer presented talked "new music paradigm, blogging, Twitter and life" at the Webstock conference.
