5AA Adelaide: Selwyn Manning & Peter Godfrey's New Zealand Issues Bulletin
Scoop's Selwyn Manning and 5AA Adelaide's Peter Godfrey discuss the weather... in particular how New Zealand has been in the grip of powerful Southern Ocean and Pacific born storms, causing tornadoes, wild gales, and snow in the south!
Also, the Prime Minister John Key has been criticised for scaremongering on the plight of asylum seekers after news broke this week that a vessel carrying 88 Tamil asylum seekers may have been intent on beaching in New Zealand. Indonesia currently has the people detained on board the ship, but that did not stop the Prime Minister from saying they would not be welcome here, and to accept them would be pandering to human trafficking and people smugglers.
