Bills Pass, House Rises Early

The Education Amendment Bill (No 4) passed its second reading by 104 to 7 with the Greens and Chris Carter opposed.

The Child and Family Protection Bill split into three parts (Domestic Violence Amendment Bill (No 2), Care of Children Amendment Bill, Adoption Amendment Bill) was passed on a voice vote and the House adjourned at 5.40.
