West Papuan Students Welcoming PNG Independence Day

Port Moresby - The celebration of the 36th PNG Independence Day welcomed with dances by the West Papuan Student Association in PNG University today (16/2011) in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
President of the West Papuan Student Association, Terrien Mambrasar said that their participation is to show to the people of Papua Nugini that their brother and sister in West Papua is under Indonesian occupation and still fighting for their independence.
"Today people of PNG can celebrate their independence day, but still fighting for Freedom because the right of the West Papuan independence has stolen by Indonesian", said Mambrasar.
The PNG Independence Day celebrated by thousands people who came and showed their traditional dance. The dancer from West Papua welcomed by people of PNG.
