Deaths In Afghanistan Remembered
MPs unanimously passed a motion noting with sadness the death of two soldiers in Afghanistan and six injured in a fire fight on August 4, when Parliament resumed today at 2pm.
A motion congratulating the New Zealand Olympic Team for their recent performance was also passed without dissent.
The Auditor-General’s report Education for Māori: Context for our proposed audit work until 2017 was also tabled.
