Today Wellington saw
over a thousand people march to Parliament in support of
Labour MP Louisa Wall's Marriage Amendment Bill. Supporters
gathered in a sunny Civic Square before marching along
Lambton Quay to Parliament where they heard speeches from
MPs, religious and Trade Union leaders, and community
activists. Support for the Bill was shared across religious
and party lines and by representatives from diverse
communities.
