The Scoop Team wishes all its supporters, readers and critics a merry Christmas, a happy New Year and general seasonal greetings.
New Zealand now heads into its traditional summer slowdown, where most people get a chance to recharge their batteries, reflect on the past year and look forward to the future.
Scoop will maintain a skeleton service until January 7 and then will pick up the pace as 2013 gets underway.
2012 was an eventful year bringing both tragedy and joy and we can expect 2013 to bring on more of the same.
Best Wishes
The Scoop Team
