Be in to win Mythbusters prize with Scoop

Promotional media release - 20th February 2014:

Be in to win Mythbusters prize with Scoop

If you're a Mythbusters fan, or know one, the chance to win a mammoth boxset of the much-loved TV series has opened on Scoop this week athttp://info.scoop.co.nz/Scoop_Competition

The boxset is a 10 year special anniversary package, containing 885 myth busting moments featuring 815 explosions and 40,000 metres of duct tape as sourced from more than 7,200 hours of Mythbusters footage.

In tandem with the prize draw Scoop intends to explode some of its own 'myths' in 2014, starting with the myth that the look and feel of its website at Scoop.co.nz isn't open to being re-designed.

"One of the priorities at Scoop for the year is definitely to take action to breathe new life into Scoop.co.nz - both through exploring better design options and through seeking more feedback on the content being delivered," said Stephen Olsen of Scoop.

"When people enter the prize draw for the Mythbusters package we are asking them to give a brief indication of things they would like to see more of on the website, and inviting extra feedback be sent to contact@scoop.co.nz

"Scoop often receives feedback about its website, as well as about the sections of content that people most expect to find on Scoop and that they keep coming back to. Feedback and suggestions for improvement are always welcomed," said Olsen.

"All of the comments that are made will be collected together to help us with our thinking about changes to make in 2014".

This is the second prize draw run by Scoop in conjunction with digital agency BeyondD and will run from now until April.

The first draw was for a Super Summer Kiwi Music Prize. The winner - Bren George of Hamilton - received her prize package in February, which included tickets to this year's Music At Matua festival.
