Martin Doyle cartoon: Dishonourable campaign

The coordinated pincer movement of 1) criticising the military medals won by David Cunliffe's ancestors, and 2) announcing an increase in the Defence budget, might at first sight seem like clever politics. It also dishonours the dead. Unfortunately, no one in our media was capable of confronting it for what it was.
