Older Voters Least Impressed With Free GP Visit Pledge

Older voters were least impressed by Labour’s offer of free GP visit to those 65 according to the Roy Morgan Reactor last week.

With the exception of National voters, Labour Leader David Cunliffe talking about his party’s campaign launch was viewed positively and National Leader John Key’s criticism of it was seen negatively.

Women were much more positive than men and those over 50 were the least positive age group about the free GP visits.

There was an overwhelming negative reaction to the defacing of billboards with anti-Semitic slogans and all parties were positive to Key's response.

There was also a negative response to NZ First Leader Winston Peters explaining his ethnic jokes.
