"It was a beautiful day - in all sorts of ways. Congratulations to the organisers of Sunday'sprotest against POAL plans and non-notified consents to build 100 metre wharf extensions off Bledisloe Wharf. And fantastic to see such a significant flotilla of boats. Reminscent of NZ's anti-nuclear days.... ...in case you couldn't be there, some pics. (Most memorable placard: "Make Love Not Wharf"). I went across with the Devonport contingent by ferry - and was able to begin taking pics as we cut through the impressive flotilla. See all the speakers..."
