Flag Bill Introduction Rejected

An attempt to add another flag to the upcoming referendum was rejected when Parliament sat today.

Andrew Little sought leave to introduce and pass through all stages a bill adding a fifth flag to the referendum. However there was objection.

Leave for another bill to be introduced seeking the Government to invest in Silver Fern Farms was also not granted.

The Attorney-General's Report under the Bill of Rights Act on the Affordable Healthcare Bill was presented and MPs began Question Time.
