PM's Press Conference 12/9/16: Homes And Fishes
Prime Minsiter John Key began his weekly press conference with an overview of NZ announcements from the Pacific Island Forum and East Asian Summit, a reminder of NZ's plans for chairing the UN Security Council, and a teaser for an unpcoming announcement on domestic violence policies.
Questions focused on the youth justice system, emergency housing and the housing market, disputes with Māori groups over the planned Kermadec Ocean Sanctuary, Minsiters' reactions to the Chiefs scandal, the movements of the NZ dollar, and possible outcomes for the TPP trade agreement if not passed before the US election.
