1. CERVICAL - The doctor at the centre of the Gisborne cervical cancer inquiry has expressed his regret for those who have suffered because he misread their smears. Some of the women turned their backs on him. Afterwards most of the women were unimpressed. Though one said they accepted his apology another thought it was just a publicity stunt.
2. BEES - The search for bee hives possibly infected by a parasite has moved further afield. Hives are being examined in Otago. In Hawke's Bay live bee exports are suffering.
3. CRONJE - There are claims disgraced South
African cricket captain Hanse Cronje has a dark side despite
his reputation for honesty. He is accused of match
fixing.
