1. LAMB - The Australian meat industry is calling for joint action with New Zealand to fight the imposition of tariffs on lamb imports into the US. However the US is confident that their move will not be overturned by the WTO.
2. IRAQ - The United Nations has provided Iraq with evidence that the New Zealander accused of sabotage could not have done it. Ian Broughton has now left Iraq after he was accused of trying to plant locust eggs.
3. SCAM - NZ Post says it has intercepted thousands of letter from Nigeria trying to work a financial scam.
4. CHILDREN - A Children's lobby group wants all policy decisions to include a report on the impact on children.
5. FRAUD - Northland police say the teacher accused of having bogus qualifications will be charged with fraud.
6. CONFERENCE - The National party faithful are gathering in Wellington for their annual conference.
7. LOCAL BODY SPENDING - A report from the Business Round Table criticises the amount of local body going into projects such as stadiums.
8. RUGBY - The All Black Coach says tomorrow's match with South Africa will be a good test of how the All Black's stand in the world ratings
