UF to back four Members' Bills
United Future leader, Peter Dunne, announced today the caucus had decided to back four Members' Bill promoted by MP's from other parties, at least as far as select committee stage.
The Bills are the:
· Residential Tenancies (Damage Insurance) Amendment Bill, in the name of Labour's Maryann Street
· Young Offenders (Serious Crimes) Bill, promoted by Ron Mark, of New Zealand First
· Resource Management (Climate Protection) Amendment Bill, sponsored by Jeanette Fitzsimons of the Green Party and
· Human Tissue (Organ Donation) Amendment Bill, in the name of National's Jackie Blue.
Mr Dunne said all Bills had some sensible ideas that were worthy of further discussion.
