New Zealand First Says Bridges is Mishandling Internal Leaks
New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters says National Party Leader Simon Bridges has continued to demonstrate an inept response over the apparent leak of his travel expenses.
“Mr Bridges was quick to attribute blame everywhere else apart from his own party caucus, and even urged an expensive investigation to be led by a High Court judge,“ said Mr Peters.
“Yet right from the very beginning the format and distribution of the leaked material pointed to within the National party caucus. This a sensitive matter that should never has been worsened by Mr Bridge’s naive and clumsy handling of it.”
