Education Strike Down This Ministry!
“Resign Mr Mallard and take your Ministry with you” demanded Peter Osborne, the Libertarianz Associate Spokesman for Education Deregulation today in response to the escalating strike action by secondary schoolteachers.
“Mr Mallard and his army of bureaucrats are well and truly stuck in the Victorian age,” Mr Osborne explains. “To pay teachers the same pay rate across the board will only ever breed discontent in the education industry. Teachers who excel in their work are being underpaid at the same rate as teachers who should really be weeded out. Sadly for our children this will never change under the current system.”
Mr Osborne doesn’t just aim this comment at the current Government: “All of the other major parties fit the same cap. They all wish to keep education under the government wing so they can churn out pliable little citizens who will do as they’re told by Nanny State.”
Mr Osborne concludes that “only when our schools are free from government interference will teachers be paid what they are worth. A Libertarianz Government would demolish the Ministry of Education and allow schools to run as they see fit. These schools will then be answerable to those that count, i.e., the parents and pupils. Teachers would be rewarded based on their ability, which would only encourage improvement. Only then will you know what true education really is.”
It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz!
