Air Force on Display at Wairarapa Air Show
The Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) will be putting on a grand display on January 17 and 18 with several of its aircraft at the ninth Wings Over Wairarapa air show in Masterton.
The general public will be able to get up close and personal with the aircraft including the RNZAF’s latest acquisition, the T-6C Texan II. Other aircraft include the ever popular Iroquois helicopter, C-130 Hercules and an A109 helicopter, with aerial displays from the NH90 and Iroquois helicopters.
But it’s not all about aircraft. There will also be New Zealand Light Armoured Vehicles (LAV) for those who like their military capability closer to the ground, and static displays from the New Zealand Defence Force careers bus, RNZAF Museum and squadron displays.
