Healthy homes = healthy people
Healthy homes = healthy people
Everyone should have access to high quality safe housing. The CTU supports the nationwide ‘Hikoi for Homes’ happening around the countrytomorrow.
Sam Huggard, CTU Secretary, said “Healthy homes are crucial for healthy families. Everyone must have access to healthy homes, homes which are affordable, safe, dry and warm, these are what make a healthy home.”
“Income should not be a barrier to living somewhere safe and healthy,”
“The Government must, and can, do more to ensure that good safe housing is available throughout the country. Kids simply must not be killed because their homes are damp and mouldy,”
“We all deserve a healthy, warm, dry homes – let’s make sure that that politicians get the message loud and clear!” Huggard said.
