Open access to weather data review released
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has released the report Weather Permitting: Review of open access to weather data in New Zealand (Weather Permitting).
Weather Permitting was commissioned in 2016 by the former Minister of Science and Innovation and the former Minister for State-owned Enterprises to determine if there is a case for opening up more public access to observational weather data to encourage innovation.
