Macpac Girls 23rd in Adventure Racing World Championships
Team Macpac Girls on Top - 23rd in Adventure Racing World Championships
Team Macpac Girls on Top officially finished the Adventure Racing World Championships in 23rd place after 9 days and over 700km of racing. The team, consisting of Debbie Chambers, Anne Lowerson, Ally Davey and Craig Stevens trekked, biked and paddled their way around North West Tasmania in very rough wilderness.
Other New Zealand teams also did very well with Seagate finishing in 3rd place (following a 4 hr penalty) and Nga Rakau in 22nd place just ahead of Team Macpac Girls on Top.
Adventure Racing is a sport that continues to grow and is slowly gaining more awareness.
