TeamVodafone: fans can ‘Win the Gig to Design our Rig’
TeamVodafone give fans a chance to ‘Win the Gig to Design our Rig’
16th November, 2011.
Leading V8 Supercar outfit TeamVodafone is giving fans the chance to have their design featured on its transporter livery for the entire 2012 V8 Supercar Championship Series season.
Fans will have until December 14th to design and submit their liveries, with templates and a gallery of designs available on www.teamvodafonedesignourrig.com
Team Principal Adrian Burgess believes it’s important to recognise the loyal following of fans and hopes the competition will allow talented designers to shine.
“Fans are what make this sport great, it keeps the passion we have for motorsport up and running so we want to give back to the people who support us year in year out," Burgess said.
“The TeamVodafone transporter travels all around Australia so the coverage this could give to a young designer is huge, we would be proud to support someone’s best work.
“I think I speak for the team in saying that we look forward to seeing some of the great designs that will come out of this competition, and you never know, we might end up using a couple of the other designs over the years to come,” Burgess concluded.
The winning design will be chosen by TeamVodafone and will feature on the TeamVodafone transporter for the duration of the 2012 V8 Supercar Season. The winner will also receive a TeamVodafone chrome membership for 2012, plus two VIP tickets to cheer on TeamVodafone trackside at the Clipsal 500, Adelaide from March 2 -4, 2012.
TeamVodafone will also be presenting a 'People’s Choice Award', giving the designer with the most Facebook 'Likes' a TeamVodafone Chrome membership in 2012.
