1. This is an action request - see paragraph 2.

2. In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting
requirements, this cable forwards the names and biodata of
eight Afghan National Army (ANA) officers designated to
attend aviation training at Fort Bliss, TX under the IMET
program. Post has reviewed the information available on
these individuals and has found no derogatory information.
Combined Security Transition Command - Afghanistan (CSTC-A)
has reviewed the information available on these individuals
and has found no derogatory information. Post requests
Department?s review of these candidates and response by
June 14, 2007.
