1. Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Director of
International Organizations in the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs Ambassador Adolphe Nayaho on October 25. Nayaho told
poloff that he will communicate USG talking points to the
Foreign Minister and then transmit the outcome of that
meeting to Burundi's representatives in New York. Nayaho
said that barring any irregularities, an abstention on the
vote is definitely possible.
