On 10/09/07, Agricultural Counselor delivered reftel demarche
to the Ministry of Agriculture's Subdirector General for
International Relations, Alicia Villaruiz. EconOff delivered
the demarche on 10/09/07 to Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Economic Affairs Officer Pablo Montesino-Espartero and to
Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade Subdirector General
for EU Affairs, Inigo Febrel, on 10/09/07. Villaruiz told
the Agricultural Counselor on 10/10/07 that Spain would vote
in favor of all four varieties as a result of a positive
decision by Spain's Interministerial Committee on
Biotechnology.
