1. On October 23, Poloff transmitted reftel demarche to the
Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, African Integration, Francophonie and the Beninese
Diaspora. Mr. Djebou Jonas, the deputy director of International
Organization told Post that the GOB is considering the request of
the United States and will soon respond to it.

2. Post will provide Government of Benin response as it becomes
available.
