1. (U) In relation to reftels, EmbOff spoke with Terence
Craig of the Government of Suriname (GOS) Ministry of Foreign
Affairs (MFA) and Ms. Boedhoe of the GOS Ministry of Planning
and Development Cooperation (PLOS). While the GOS has not
yet officially decided on whether to send a delegation or on
its composition, at least four Ministries are still
considering participation.
2. (U) Craig said he would try to assemble a "bootleg" list
of possible names for Post to pass to Washington. Boedhoe at
PLOS emphasized that the size of any possible delegation
would be dependent on the possibility of receiving funding.
3. (U) Post will pass on additional information as it
becomes available.
