1) Per reftel, post delivered demarche to Chantal Elsenhout,
Deputy Head of the International Organizations division of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Suriname on October 24,
2007. While she had no immediate response, Elsenhout queried
post as to the US official view of the role that the UN Third
Committee plays in addressing pressing human rights issues.
