(SBU) Poloff met October 22 with Ms. Delia Chatoor of the
Multilateral Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and presented the talking points in reftel concerning
Mr. Walker,s candidacy for the IAAC. Ms. Chatoor said the
GOTT,s UN delegation would make a decision on whether to
support Mr. Walker following an examination of his background
and qualifications. As such, she suggested any further
follow-up should take place in New York.
