Protest Day Will Be Observed On Both Sides of LoC Against The Killings of Innocent Civilians In Indian Held Kashmir By Indian Troops

Srinagar (Indian Held Kashmir),

Protest Day, marked by massive demonstrations, will be observed on both sides of Line of Control tomorrow in response to a call by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. The objective behind the observance of the day is to attract world attention to the increased spurt of Indian military terrorism, particularly massacre of Namazis in Juma congregation in Charar-e- Sharif. Big rallies will be held at Tehsil and district levels all across occupied Kashmir and in Azad Kashmir. The speakers will strongly voice Kashmiris' resentment against stepped up Indian state terrorism. The Khatibs, in their Khutbas at Juma congregations will speak in detail about the brute Indian repression and opf the unique sacrifices being offered by the people of occupied Kashmir. Former APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Shah Gilani in a statement said, tomorrow's large-scale anti-India demonstrations will once again convey the message, loud and clear, to the world community that Kashmiris to, a man, are strongly opposed to Indian Illegal occupation of their soil. The senior APHC leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz in his statement issued in Srinagar today said, Kashmiris will stridently prove tomorrow that the Indian orgy pf death and destruction has not the least affected Kashmiris firm resolve and stout courage. Jammu based organizations, J&K Peoples Movement and Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement have alkso made elaborate arrangements of protest demonstrations in all the districts of Jammu region. The AJK Prime Minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has said that the Azad Kashmir people will express full solidarity with their brethren in occupied Kashmir. According to the figures given out by the police authorities in Srinigar today, 205 civilians were martyred in occupied Kashmir since lifting of the ceasefire since last month. The figures are demonstrative of the new military operation code named "Seek and Destroy".
