Photos of NYPD officers in full riot gear in the process of arresting a dozen New York University students on Sunday 03 Feburary.

The students who were staging a shadow anti-WEF protest outside their dormitories on east 12th Street and third avenue were confronted by several hundred officers while a police helicopter hovered overhead.

The dormitory on 12th street and 3rd Avenue is about forty blocks from the site of the demonstration, fifty from the south edge of the park where the main body of protesters gathered before the march.
