BNS Denies HMS Nottingham Was Escort
8 July 2002
British Nuclear Fuels today categorically denied that HMS Nottingham was to provide escort duties for the Pacific Pintail and Pacific Teal on their voyage from Japan to the United Kingdom.
A spokesman for British Nuclear Fuels said the suggestion which has emanated from the United Kingdom had absolutely no foundation in fact.
