Suicide Bombing
On October 4, 2003, at approximately 14:15, Tayasir Jaradat, a female suicide bomber from Jenin, detonated the explosive belt she was wearing in Haifa's "Maxim" Resturant (northern Israel).
19 Israelis, including children, were murdered in the attack. Dozens more were wounded. 8 people suffered serious injuries.
The Islamic Jihad terrorist group claimed responsibility
for the bombing.
