Two children shot in two days
2 children shot in 2 days, 3 houses occupied by soldiers in Yamun
The ISM media office just received word from activists in the town of Yamun -- where Israeli soldiers have imposed a curfew for the last two days -- that a 13-year-old boy was just shot in his side (by soldiers). This is the second child shot in as many days (yesterday's was 7 years old), despite that no one in the town is shooting back.
3 homes have been occupied by soldiers
for the last two days, with the familes of each locked in
one room of each house. In one case, 30 people are locked
in one room, and soliders have refused to allow food in,
brought by both ISM activists and representatives from the
Red Crescent (food was however delivered to another family
yesterday). 6 ISM activists are present in the town, and
are still attempting to assist the families in occupied
homes.
