You may have heard that our friend and colleague Thomas Hurndall has passed away, several hours ago. The soldier who killed him has been taken into custody after two weeks of interrogation, after admitting that he lied, that there was no armed camouflauged gunman on the scene, that he knowingly shot in the head, an unarmed man with a flourescent coat as he tried to pull children away from the sniper fire in the area.
His family and supporters have called for a vigil
outside Downing Street today, Wednesday, at 5.30pm.
