Ballots Bill Likely to Get Hearing
Tuesday, April 6th at
3:00 pm, in 401 State Capitol
Danae Roberts, Secretary to House Committee on Governmental Affairs Chairman, Representative Alan Powell, reports that she has been asked to find a quorum of the committee for a 3:00 pm meeting today, Tuesday, April 6th, to consider SB-500, which would require a voter verified paper audit trail. The Committee will meet in Chairman Powell's office at 401 State Capitol.
The citizen coalition organizing to restore transparency and integrity to Georgia's elections welcomed new allies to the cause as this past week saw both the Georgia Christian Coalition and the TrueMajority activate their email activist lists in support of passage of SB-500. And this morning, MoveOn entered the fray with an alert to their own network in Georgia.
