A British soldier urinates on the Iraqi detainee
LONDON, May 1 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) – The British Daily Mirror published Saturday, May 1, four gruesome images showing British soldiers brutally beat and urinate on an Iraqi detainee.
One of the images show a rifle barrel forces into the detainee's mouth while another depicts a rifle cruelly jabbed into his groin.
The pictures, which immediately triggered an outrage in Britain, emerged one day after the American CBS news network broadcast horrible images of Iraqi prisoners tortured by U.S. troops.
The British mass-circulation said the images, handed by one of the British soldiers involved, were taken in a camp near Basra in the British-controlled southern Iraq.
"He was missing teeth. All his mouth was bleeding and his nose was all over the place. He couldn't talk, his jaw was out. He's had a good few hours of a kicking. He was on his way to being killed. There's only so much you can take," a soldier recalled.
After torturing
him, British soldiers threw the hooded detainee from a
moving truck and left to die.
