Budrus Residents to March Against the Wall
Budrus Residents, Internationals to March Against the Wall
Non-Violent Demonstration to Stop Illegal Construction
Residents of Budrus village, Israeli peace activists, international human rights activists and members of the International Solidarity Movement, will demonstrate against the illegal Israeli wall that is cutting through the Budrus area.
The aim on Tuesday is to highlight the illegality of the Wall and the untold suffering and destruction it has caused.
The village of Budrus has a strong history of solidarity and non- violent resistance and has been successful in protesting the Israeli Wall, declared illegal by the International Court.
However, peaceful demonstrations in the past have been met with Israeli soldiers and border police repression and violence.
Tomorrow the village of Budrus, supported by international peace activists will march again to protest the injustice of the Wall.
